We are looking for a new Legal Counsel for our emerging legal team which provides top-notch legislative support in all areas of Tooploox and Solvd activities. You will work closely with business teams and non-legal professionals, so strong communication skills are essential

What you will do:

• Draft and review commercial contracts, including NDAs, Consulting Agreements, and Licensing Agreements.
• Provide legal services for both our Polish company and our American parent company, including the preparation of internal regulations and documentation and handling ongoing intercompany legal affairs.
• Draft and review documentation related to GDPR, HIPAA, and other data protection laws, and negotiate related data protection agreements.
• Handle other legal aspects related to the operations of Tooploox and Solvd.
• Create and optimize legal processes to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

Experience and skills you need to join us:

• Availability: full-time;
• At least 3 years of previous experience in a legal department or a law firm after graduation;
• Expertise in Polish civil and commercial law, IT (new technologies, AI) law and experience in international commercial contract negotiations (with an emphasis on IT contracts), particularly within the U.S. market.
• Expertise in tax law, labour or privacy laws will be an advantage.
• Exposure to practical issues connected with IT law/tech/privacy
• English C1 ; Polish C2
• Exceptionally strong communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal personnel.
• Completed law studies. Professional qualifications of an attorney-at-law or advocate will be an advantage.
• A proactive approach and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, cross-functional and multicultoral environment.
• An independent, proactive person who is excellent at managing their tasks.
• Experience in a multicultural environment will be an advantage.
